Staff Sgt. Glen, Samsun, Turkey 1954-55

I posted some photos on Facebook, and decided I would put a few on the blog, too. Glen was in the Air Force Security Service for four years, and spent a year in Samsun, Turkey. I had to stay at home. Here he is in uniform at Ankara; he's not a Staff Sgt. yet in this photo.

I'm posting some photos when he had some time off, too. Here he is with the jeep.

Glen visited Ankara a couple of times beside entering Turkey and leaving for home.

Here Glen is, wearing my favorite blue Jantzen sweater that I gave him. This is the Black Sea.

It's easy to see why I was attracted to Glen, isn't it? He would have been about 24-25 in these photos.
