RANDOM SHOTS from AUGUST 2010 Visit to WA

Erynn is learning the essentials in Nursery -- I AM A CHILD OF GOD. Something really good to know!

As you can see, Erynn is politically active at a very young age (3); her daddy brought her this shirt from Washington, D.C. when he was there for the math competitions with a student. He is an official at present as well. Erynn was so excited to get this shirt from her Daddy! If she runs for president, we'd better line up to vote for her! She will make everything wonderful for us!

Ms. Lefty is doing some serious painting -- Roo seems to have a yellow (lellow) nose!

And there you have it -- the finished product in living color. Erynn is very proud of her artistic talent!
Erynn is very smart, too -- she wanted to "draw" her name after watching a cartoon character do it, and indeed, she succeeded! The "e" is a little turned, but remember, she is a lefty! Anyone can tell that she wrote e - r - y - n - n, and very well, too. This went into the "frame."

Another biggie for Erynn -- sipping water through a straw. This is quite an accomplishment for a little girl who has been struggling with taking anything through her mouth to her tummy. We have every confidence that one of these days her port will be a thing of the past, and she will enjoy food right along with the rest of us.

Who, ME? A bathing beauty? You'd better believe it. How chic her bathing attire is, eh?

When Daddy had a partial knee replacement, Erynn was very attentive, and here she is, having a reading session with Daddy, while he recovers from his surgery. (He has done very well, too!)

GG had a fabulous time being with Daddy, Momma, and Erynn for two weeks and helping with 5:15 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. feeds, and getting early breakfast to Daddy. GG has spent the subsequent days at home catching up on some sleep... :o).
