Huntsville, UT and the Garden Show

On Saturday, Karen, Don, and I drove out to Huntsville to see the garden show and visit with my nephew, Jeff, and his wife, Jenna. They have the most amazing home, which they designed and had built for them (leaving Alamo, CA to live in Hunstville, of all things). Anyway, it was so funny because the Ogden paper asked to photograph their "gardens" to advertise, because their home was on the garden tour. They published pictures of the house, the Sorry game, and other photos not quite describing gardens. It took up the entire first page of the Life section, plus some inside. Obviously Jeff is amused! (Karen on the left with Don barely seen behind her.)
We had a yummy impromptu lunch in this lovely sun room - you can see the pool showing outside the windows. L to R - Karen, Jeff, Jenna's mom, and Jenna (and Don is still not seen -- couldn't get him in the same photo).

I'm including one picture of gardening. I really liked this tree stump with the wonderful patterns of the roots. It was very pretty with flowers planted around it. That house was quite rustic, but lovely.
Huntsville is a beautiful area, not overly developed, with mountains and a reservoir. Jeff and Jenna's home is on property next to the lake. Very peaceful setting.
